Brief Biography
George Fuller was born in East Orange, New Jersey. He attended high school at Wentworth Military Academy and then studied Business Management and Law at Norwich University, the nation’s oldest private military academy. Following college, Mr. Fuller moved to Manhattan, New York where he managed the development and construction of a commercial and residential mixed use property. In 1987, Mr. Fuller moved George C. Fuller Contracting Company to Dallas, Texas.
Construction Experience
As a second generation builder and developer, George C. Fuller brings to the forefront a custom home and commercial construction company founded on six decades of experience in large scale commercial development and superbly crafted homes of distinction.
The tradition began in the early 1940's when George C. Fuller, Sr. started his building career in the northeast developing and constructing numerous schools, churches and synagogues. Drawing upon his large scale project experience, residential development became a natural addition. As his reputation for building fine custom residences grew, so did his clientele. By the 1980's the home building company had expanded and included some of the most successful single family residential and condominium developments from New York to Florida.
In North Texas, George Fuller has developed community infrastructures, retail shopping centers, condominiums, business centers and some of the most award winning and decorated homes in North Texas.
Business Experience
Among Mr. Fuller’s ventures outside of construction have been:
- Body Quest, Inc., an international exercise equipment manufacturing and distributing company.
- Everide Automotive Parts, Inc., an automotive heating and cooling parts company with national distribution
- Airtech Heating and Cooling, Inc., a Dallas based commercial and residential general contracting company
- Sound Southwest Recording Studio
- Various retail stores
Awards:
- Honored with the Builder of the Year Award three years in a row by renowned “D Magazine”.
- Honored with many National Home Builder association Awards, including “Best Crafstmanship”, “Best Overall Home”, “Best Floor Plan”, and multiple “People’s Choice” awards.
Humanitarian Work:
- Co-Founder and active board member of the Love Life Foundation, a non-profit organization founded in 1992 that is dedicated to bringing awareness of the many tragedies inflicted upon our children and identifying and supporting the agencies and groups that bring relief and comfort to those young victims and their families.
- Supports the humanitarian and educational needs of St. Yared orphanage in Axum, Ethiopia.
